i remember this idea from awhile back in like 2014 for OBS classic but was never implemented. A mod said with a rewrite you could probably do it but it was never done. I n=know that the developers are working hard on OBS Studio, but this would be a nice feature to have. Even if its only on MP4.
Ideas:
1. Hotkey to save chapters such as Alt + F1
2. When you go back to edit your long videos you could see where you have saved the chapters so you know where to edit.
3. It could even just save a notepad with a listing of times in the video that you marked so it could be easy to edit.
I cannot use audio to tell me where to edit cause i'm usually talking with my friends through the entire duration of the video so i cant split audio tracks or anything.
