Question / Help changing the rate factor quality of x264 ..etc

for recording , many times i need to change the ratefactor quality of x264/h264 ..
as other software's give you the ability to do it throw a graphic window something like :

it will be great to have the ability to do that in OBS too .
 
You can already do that in advanced mode but there is a reason why it is hidden behind the advanced settings.

It's the "CRF" settings when you select CRF as rate control.

if that so , so i can use between 1 - 51 same as the first picture i posted ?
and is it good to use it for stream ?
