I've been noticing this with all of the versions of OBS I've been running for about the past year:
I have a Magewell Pro Capture Quad HDMI capture card.
When I make any sort of change to settings, and I'm focused on audio settings here, for instance, if I change the input source for audio from one device to another, I noticed that the luma levels drop on my video sources.
I soon found out that OBS changes the levels from 0-255 where I had set them, to 16-235, and also the saturation levels to "limited". It's a pain when it starts doing it to all four camera feeds.
I'm not sure if this is a Magewell problem or an OBS problem. I just think that a change to the audio settings should not reset the video levels. Those functions should be separate.
In all other respects, I love the software and it does amazing stuff that you would expect to pay $30,000 for if offered by a corporate developer.
