I use an external capture card for recording console gameplay. The card has a 650ms delay, so I have to set my microphone and webcam to both have a 650ms delay as well.
However, I also like to record PC gameplay.
I quickly realized that, when I switch to my PC recording scene, the webcam and microphone are still delayed.
I didn't want to manually change my webcam and microphone delays every time I change scenes, so I tried these:
1) While set to the PC capture scene, I set the webcam and microphone delays back to 0ms. However, this also changed the delays for both in the console capture scene since OBS now makes everything a global source.
2) I tried to set my desktop capture to have a 650ms delay, but for obvious reasons, OBS doesn't let you go above 500ms for desktop capture.
3) I tried to create a second set sources for my webcam and microphone, but then the webcam and microphone both only work in one scene and don't in the other (I assume this is because OBS is still concentrating on rendering it in the other scene even though I'm not using the scene).
None worked. But I'd really prefer to have a way to automatically change delay settings when I change scenes.
That or figure out a way to allow a 650ms delay for my desktop capture (I'm confident my PC could handle an extra 150ms).
Any suggestions?
