In Advanced Audio Properties, you're offered three options: Monitor Off, Monitor Only (mute output), and Monitor and Output. Both Monitor Only (mute output) and Monitor and Output clearly describe what the settings do. Monitor Off, however, leaves the possibility that the output may be on or off. I suggest changing Monitor Off to Output Only (mute monitor). Then it's clear exactly what the setting does. Plus, it would match the format of the label Monitor Only (mute output).
