Change capture to active monitor

I've been searching for the better part of an hour for something like this, but am only finding results for the "Automatic Scene Switcher". Unfortunately, it's not looking like this option will work for what I am trying to do since one of the programs titles changes depending on what file it has open, and I will at times need it to record an empty desktop. What I am looking for is a way to switch the scene based on the current mouse position/monitor to that specific monitor capture. Is this already possible, and I'm possibly just not configuring something correctly?

I tried to get this working years ago, and then ended with shortkeys to switch between monitors. 1.) Define scene per monitor -> 2.) Settings -> 3.) Go to hotkeys -> Define some key like "F8" for one and "Crtl + F8" for the other "scene" (which are defined as your monitors' sources)

Unfortunately no really automatisation here, but better then clicking into the other monitor scene.
