CBR or CQP

I used CQP at level 24 and noticed that after recording a 3 minute video of a game (dying light 2) it almost took up 1 gb of space on my hard drive! I want to know if I should use CBR or CQP, if either one of these options are better than the other, please tell me what bitrate or CQ level i should put on for high quality and minimal space usage.
