My wife and i were recording when we attempted to stop the recording got this error. i have figured out what caused it and how to recreate it. how to avoid doing it again and possibly for a future fix.
Cause: Accidentally clicked start streaming (not we do not have streaming setup on that PC so it gave an error to click ok) once we clicked OK we then selected start Recording with no delay. then after we recorded for about an hour we go to stop recording but that is where it got stuck. Recreatable
What actually causes this error when you click stream then clear the error and go to start recording the actual file is never created in your recording destination not even a corrupt file. This is what is causing the Stopping Recording error in this instance.
