let's start with the logfile: https://gist.github.com/977e7e6a35db7dc5c8f4daa442f61d8d
Using OBS 18.01, Windows 10
I want to stream 2 gamewindows: the first one is fullscreen on my main monitor. the second is 1/4 of my 2. Monitor.
I dualbox 2 characters in World of Warcraft (yes, I know i can place all those windows with ISBoxer on the Main Monitor, but I want the active window to be large)
So the window of the second toon is supposed to be on top of the large one, scaled down and cut to fit.
I changed my basic scene which worked fine so far with (from back to front): screencapture, game, 2 pictures and StreamPro.
I made a second game window. selected a new source, window (I tried both game and window capture - same result), specific window and the window title. (if the phrases don't match exactly: my client is german. so make a guess :) )
I had some trouble getting the capture of toon 2 to show up, but it finally worked. I positioned it and switched to the 2 toons i wanted to play.
I made sure, the window title matched the new ones, and all i got was black windows.
I restarted obs, WoW, my computer. I deleted the sources, made them new. restarted everything again... no luck. only black windows.
ok, I'll make a complete new scene.
No luck either. Even the screencapture is black.
And i recognized: i can only choose monitor0 for screencapturing.
I switched between my two scenes and clicked the visible and hide button a few times (desperate! :) )
and what is this? after a few times, the screencapture worked.
I switched to my standard scene: screencapture black. clicking the button a few times: visible.
this goes back and forth, switching between the 2 scenes.
so, how do i get the game/windowcaptures to work?
thanks in advance!
