Capturing video from BBC News web site

Hi, I have been using OBS to capture video News Reel video from the BBC News Web pages. Window - activate the live browser - (Opera) - then try to adjust the framing of the live video into the recording preview window, which always leaves unwanted surrounding areas of the screen shot, which in truth I do not really want in view as any adjustment into the preview window is maintained proportional. Is there any way that I can capture only the exact news video on playback, without unwanted areas in the preview screen view?? Any information appreciated.

have you try to find the stream address and put it in as VLC source ?
Thanks for the tip, but all BBC newscast stream address are in a 'bob' format: the actual stream source is hidden deliberately, so that you cannot use VLC or Jacksta for capture & or download. OBS works well, but you need to manipulate the view of the Browser into the actual preview screen: i.e. zoom it, but even then the maintained proportions on the screen will mean that unwanted surrounding material will be included in the final recorded video. I wondered if in OBS the recorded preview screen could be manipulated (zoomed or adjusted) to exactly fit the video area only in the web page prior to recording.

Thanks for your comments: stay safe, and have yourself an enjoyable Festive Season.
