Capturing a word page and my face

Hi guys. I have a problem. I can see myself and my desktop screen on the preview screen but when I minimize the program and start recording it doesnt record my face. It only records the screen. I use video catch and screen catch.
I want to record my face and my word page while teaching. What can be wrong ?
