Hi guys,
I'm new to this and PCs in general so you'll have to bear with me. I am attempting to capture PC game footage using Streamlabs OBS and I'm having terrible issues with lag/frame-skipping. I've tried messing with the settings myself but have had no success. I have my video output scaled down to 1920x1080 with my base resolution at 3840x2160. I'm attempting to capture at 60 fps. My bitrate is set to 8000 as I have pretty fast internet. I figured with a small indie game like Phasmophobia, which is what is currently giving me problems, I would have no issues. My PC specs are:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core 3.59 GHZ
16 GB RAM
RTX 2080 Super
I have a separate 1 TB HD that I use to save videos on. I play most large games at 4K resolution high settings with no problems. Any idea where my issues are coming from?
Thanks!
