SCENARIO
Whether I record or not (enabled preview), when the source Window Capture is used on a windowed game (in this case, Shadowverse), both the preview and the recording will show the still frame of that window from when OBS started, and when I click into that window (e.g. bring Shadowverse into focus), my mouse cursor will be displayed correctly (moving), but the window would still be that same frame.

The frame will not update when I hide/unhide the source. It WILL update to the latest frame when I delete the source and make the source again.

The log file indicates some missing libraries, like cef, but I don't see how that has anything to do with this. However, there are also two with GL in their names which makes me concerned. Also, no idea what AMF is.

(in the examples below, by screen I mean game menu/cutscene/intro etc, i.e. what the game is displaying)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
e.g. I start Shadowverse and reach screen A. I start OBS. The preview will show a still frame of screen A. When I go to screen B in Shadowverse, OBS still displays screen A.

e.g. I start OBS. Shadowverse is not started yet, so the source is blank. I start Shadowverse. (*One of) the first frames that gets displayed in the Shadowverse window will be displayed in OBS preview. And that never updates after the game moves on to screen A.

IMPACT
My recordings are just of the mouse moving over a still image... I can't use the software.

ENVIRONMENT
See log file for a description of the environment.
I am on a laptop with Nvidia graphics, and I have tried the suggestion in the pinned post to no avail.

WORKAROUND
There is no workaround.
