Hi everyone.... ok so I am completely new to all of this. I'm trying to setup my laptop or desktop to my Sony DCR-SX85 handcam. I bought a capture card and an HDMI connector. set it up and i only get the picture from the desktop or laptop directly.
Can someone please help me with this. I have been watching plenty of youtube videos that are using more advanced equipment. I cannot afford it. tried reaching out to Sony but alas customer support is not available.
