Hello All
So I am recently new to streaming and plan to do so on my ps5. I have a samsung tv. the version is 55 inch, U7900F Crystal UHD tv. I went out nad bought a nearstream 4K HDMU USB 3.0 external capture card. I had the settings on everything to run in 1080 p. Everytime I turn on the game it shows up on both the tv and in obs no issues when I am on the ps5 main menu. The minute I load a game however it stays up on OBS but my tv gives an error saying the resolution is not supported. I looked everywhere cant find a fix. Someone told me that maybe switching to an elgato card would be better. So now I am in the process of returning the nearstream card to amazon and getting an elgato. The one issue is I have no idea which one to get to avoid the same issue with the tv again since I have no idea why it was doing that in the first place.
Any suggestions on why its doing that? How to fix it? and what card will avoid it
