I hope I have this question in the right spot,, if not please direct me in the right direction.
Ok well to start, I have my pc all set up and running. I wanted to also record myself along with the games. Wanted to use a mirrorless/ dslr camera instead of a webcam for better quality overall. Upon my research through multiple different forums and videos, I have run into contradicting information and I don't want to make a large purchase if I don't need to.
Here's a little information on the set up.
Ryzen 2600, trident ram, powercolor red devil 5700xt, b450m ds3h motherboard.
Single pc no two pc setup. I will be incorporating (old school) console games into my channel which is one reason why I would need one.
But I am also coming across information stating I will need a capture card to properly utilize a dslr/mirrorless camera for self recording. And I am also coming across information stating if you don't have a 2 pc set up a capture card is counterintuitive. So I am somewhat confused in regards if I should or not, like if it will be a productive purchase.
