Question / Help Capture Card No Audio? Help!

So basically as the title says, I have Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme which uses HDMI in/out and USB 3.0, and OBS has no problem adding that to Scenes. I get my Xbox feed no problem, but the issue I'm having is no audio is being recorded locally. Before I state anything, YES I have most recent drivers. OBS is 64bit and so is my Avermedia Driver. The ONLY WAY I can receive audio in my recordings is to put "Audio Output Mode" to "Output Audio Desktop" which is NOT what I want because my sound now comes out through my PC Speakers. I have to mute my PC to record which doesnt allow me to do anything on PC with sound while recording, including listening to music or anything. I have done what everyone has suggested in other posts by clicking on "Use custom audio device" but it only lists my Yeti Mic, and Astro Mixamp. I cant get my Capture card to show up in there either. I have also read to try adding OBS to my Anti-Virus exceptions, done that, still nothing. I have uninstalled OBS multiple times, nothing. I have clicked on "Configure Crossbar and tried those suggestions, still nothing. I cannot for the life of me get "Capture Audio Only" to work. Some help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'm not using the most recent OBS Studio (I'm using the last OBS MP) but I recall having to install the Avermedia drivers from August in order to make the audio work :) Maybe try that out?

I have the same problem as you. No audio at all. Really like multiplatform.
But no sound... So bad
Did you Solved the problem already?
