So there's this issue I've had for a very long time that I've never been able to figure out why it happens, the title says it all
More specifically, the footage is fine until the screen gets frozen or very dark, then the stuttering occurs, and I actually have a video demonstrating it.
This is recording a Wii via Component output
In OBS, my capture card is named "IT9910 Capture Filter (HD)"
In the Device Manager, it shows like this
The model of the card is named "ezcap284" and it's publicly named as "HD Video Recorder"
The Capture Card is able to record by itself with just a button, and recording like that has absolutely no issues whatsoever, so I heavily suspect this is related to OBS, I have no idea why this issue has stuck with me, nobody else seems to have this issue either with this device.
Something to note is that during some time the issue actually stopped happening, but that was because I was using a different computer that just so happened to have been formatted recently at the time (note that that same PC had this issue in the past) and I recently got a new PC and used the capture card with it too, no stuttering, until one time I grabbed the source and duplicated it to another scene, then it came back and haven't been able to get rid of it again. Obviously I don't want to have to format my PC every time this issue comes back (And no, reinstalling OBS does nothing), so I want to know why this happens and fix it, I'd really appreciate it if someone can help me on this.
I have no idea if I provided the necesary amount of info needed or not, but I think I did a pretty good job about it, if not, reply with any info needed and I'll do my best to answer.
