Bug Report Capture Card Audio WaveOut - Can't Adjust Volume Separate of Desktop Audio

I'm pretty sure this is already known by the devs. I have an Avermedia U3 and everything works fine with the capture card and the audio except this. I know this is a well known issue with the original OBS where you set your Avermedia U3 to WaveOut and the volume adjustments also override your desktop audio volumes.

In OBS MP this is fixed, sort of. When you set it to WaveOut it shifts the volume of the capture card over to Desktop Audio. I don't mind that but I'd like to see if I can still adjust my capture card's audio, on it's own, separate of Desktop Audio. Specific games are too loud but turning down all desktop audio turns down the volumes of my twitch alerts and my bot sound effects.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem but I was wondering if it was something already known or is going to be fixed here in the future.

I have plenty of time to wait so no rush. I'm already happy with the awesome product you guys have out :D

That is a shortcoming of using WaveOut, so you might have better results if you use DirectSound.

Directsound causes the audio to stutter on my Avermedia U3 sadly. WaveOut is the only way I can go for now. Just wish I could still adjust the volume from the Avermedia U3 slider bar instead of Desktop Audio. lol. But, I know it'll still adjust my desktop audio anyway.

Dodgepong, Do you want me to post a video of the Avermedia U3's audio stutter on directsound? no matter what setting I use, if it's on directsound it'll stutter the audio.

Hello Joe33345 and others~
Was just curious if a fix for this was ever found? As I am having the exact same issue with the same capture card and setup.

Thanks!
