Question / Help Capture Card audio desyncs after a while with Component

Had the same problem here 5 months ago, problem still persists. Hopeful that help may be available now to see if there's a way to fix it.

Here is a current log: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/f46cf3ebe489d7df188a164e96078a70
Edit: Would probably help if I listed my capture card.. I'm using the AverMedia C027.

Audio gradually becomes desynced the longer I am recording or streaming, getting to where if I'm recording for 50 minutes, there may be a 1+ second delay in game audio, my microphone and webcam both appear to work fine.

This only appears to happen when I have it selected to Output desktop audio. Does not matter if WaveOut or DirectSound is selected and problem persists. Switching between the two fixes the delay, although after a while it always comes back.

I've tried going into the Configure Crossbar settings and switching the Buffering settings under the properties for my Capture Card, and while switching them fixes the problem for a while, the delay still continues after a while of recording.

Does anyone have any tips on anything else to try to fix this problem? I'm completely at a loss, and I really don't want to buy a sound mixer to be an in-between, since I want to listen to desktop audio as well.

Edit: Would it be possible to pull audio from my capture device alongside OBS and forward it to my headphones?

Edit: Maybe last edit? Through some more thorough testing, it appears only component causes the delay in audio, composite can go on for hours without any delay.

You likely need to use avermedia's stream engine helper app to fix that.
As far as I know, this was made to enable streaming of the Live Gamer Portable, since it doesn't support DirectShow. I didn't even think to try this out.

I'll test it, thanks for the suggestion.

Edit: Stream Engine doesn't recognize anything but the Live Gamer Portable, so it isn't possible to use it.

Finally setup my PS2 and found that composite does not have the same delay problem as component does.

Is there anyway to make it so component does not have any delay, the same as composite?
