Ok, newbie with OBS, so hopefully I won't make any fopas. I was using the program snagit to capture videos playing in the VLC media player. Basically, snagit provides an expanding widget in which to surround the video and it captures what is in it, i.e. the movie that is playing. How does the translate to OBS. There is no log file.
