This issue has been around for a while. OBS does not take into account hidpi so canvas size is always wrong and needs to be typed in manually, otherwise it's all zoomed in. My base canvas size options are 1440x900, 1920x1080, 1280x720. But I have to manually change to 2880x1800 (macbook pro).
