Canvas Resolution change output quality in this case?

- All my layouts are on 720p
- I use Canvas Res at 720p AND Output Res at 720p (livestream at 720p)
- I play at 1080p

If I change my Canvas Res to 1080p, it means that OBS will receive and process the game image at 1080p, but livestream at 720p.

The image quality will increase If I change or its pretty much the same?

If we are talking about the base resolution, then you should specify the resolution that matches the resolution of your monitor. Otherwise, you will lose the clarity of the picture.

Specify the output resolution you want and use the scaling filter.
