Hi All,
I'm currently running into a problem with using an Elgato Cam Link with OBS. It also doesn't work in Elgato Game Capture. In that instance, it spends a long time looking for the Cam Link and then says it is currently being used by another application. I've been troubleshooting for a few hours and here's a list of the things I've tried:
1) Closing and uninstalling other software that might use the Cam Link (Elgato game capture & xsplit)
2) Testing with Elgato Game Capture on my other computer (This works plug and play the way it should. It clearly isn't a problem with the Cam Link or my camcorder)
3) Reinstalling Drivers (Device Manager says the device is working properly >_> )
4) I tried to use ProcessExplorer to search for the physical device object name to see if any stray applications were using the Cam Link.
I'm not using any antivirus software other than windows defender and I didn't find any redflags when I looked there either. Below is my log file. I appreciate any help sorting this out!
