CONTEXT
Some want to have two sources of the same webcam :
In the webcam settings, "Deactivate when not displayed" is checked, in order to deactivate the webcam of the previous scene when changing scene, for it to re-activate in the next scene. If you don't do this, the webcam of the previous scene, while not being displayed anymore, stays activated.
PROBLEM
________________
Actually, a workaround is to manually hide/show the source of the webcam in the scene, for it to detect it again. It could be binded to a key, but it forces people to push two keys in addition to the key needed to switch the scene, and it makes the stream more amateurish.
In defense of having low-res settings for the webcam, I noticed that high-re webcam makes OBS to use 8% of my CPU (wether it is in fullscreen or reduced in-game), while low-res just use 2.5 to 3% (fullscreen/in-game).
Some want to have two sources of the same webcam :
- one with high-res settings for scenes with webcam in fullscreen.
- one with low-res settings for scenes where the webcam just takes a tiny portion of the screen (typical in-game webcam display).

PROBLEM
- The webcam deactivate itself when switching to the next scene, but doesn't reactivate itself in that next next scene.
