Hello,i downloaded obs 1h ago and set it up and everything,i looked for a popular guide on youtube. I lowered capturing settings to fit my pc specs, but when i record i got big black bars on the sides,i looked online and people said rightclick-transformation-fit to screen? When i do that literally nothing happens, even when i stretch the little red lines to match the screen and press fit to screen it does nothing... Please help. My monitor res is 1920x1080p, my base (canvas) res is 1920x1080p and my output (scaled) resolution is 1280x720. I want to record videos in 720p,my pc cant handle 1080p. Thanks

Can you post a screen capture of what your obs canvas looks like, as well as the Video settings for OBS?

Your scene and resolutions are set up correctly. In your recording settings, you don't happen to have a different rescale resolution set do you?

Also, what are you using to play back your recordings? Are you sure the black bars are baked in, or is it just a result of the player adding padding to the video?
