So I've been dealing with dropping frames but not lagging for a couple months now. It seems to be on and off when it occurs. I'll be streaming and then suddenly I'll be dropping frames like crazy but be completely fine in game. No lag whatsoever. No rise in ping or anything. The 2 log files I uploaded show memory leaks. I'm not sure if that is the issue or what but It's VERY annoying that I can use OBS. I VERY VERY LUCKILY have a 1 year free premium license for some reason for it. (I haven't bought an MSI anything since 2013) I'd much rather be able to use OBS since I can do so much more with it but its completely useless for me currently. I'm not sure if anyone else is having these issues or reporting it but I'm pretty sure it's not on my end since I can stream just fine via xSplit.

I've done so much to try to fix it thinking it was my computer. I've reinstalled windows MULTIPLE times, and just today I used DDU to uninstall my drivers and do a clean install of my drivers. I can't think of anything else since it's not my internet.

Also I tend to stream using Nvenc since I like to keep over 144 fps. I tried it with quicksync and x264 and the problem still happens so its not nvenc.

So I HOPE someone has an answer to my problem. Until then I'll very sadly use Xsplit until a fix pops up or I tragically die.

...I like to keep over 144 fps...
Choose carefully: are you going to stream/record or you just want to play? "Over" is not compatible with streaming/recording - try fixed fps number in game.

OBS Studio gives you a freedom to use the software or not.

Try OBS Studio without Browser Source if you want to reduce "memory leak" count in the log.

I just meant in game. I stream at 60fps. But in Overwatch I like to keep over 144fps and thats why I use Nvenc is what I was saying
