Question / Help Can't stream or record

Hello,

I previously streamed via OBS (all short) and it worked fine. but I upgraded my audio and video hardware and on the way, switched to OBS studio and since then, i can't stream nor record>
I always get the message

Starting the output failed.Please check the log for details

Note : If you are using the NVENC or AMD encodersm make sur your video drivers are up to date.

I have updated my AMD drivers to the latest version but the problem keeps repeating.

I have checked the log but honestly i don't make any sense of it, not very savvy...

I have searched the forums for a solution and found an old post that is closed as of now. I got to say i don't really understand what I could do. Someone help ?

AMD drivers not the issue as you are using QuickSync encoder (intel). Is that your intent?

QSV is throwing an error:

17:12:23.323: [qsv encoder: 'msdk_impl'] Unsupported configurations, parameters, or features (MFX_ERR_UNSUPPORTED)

You have an Intel GPU driver that has a bug that prevents using QuickSync. If updating to the latest does not fix it, roll back to an older one:

Really not lol. I didn't even know i was not using the right encoder.
I switched to the AMD one and it now works like a charm !
