Question / Help cant start CS:GO with OBS MP

so i've been trying to stream some CS with OBS MP but it makes the game crash right away. Tried it with smite & some other games and that works fine. Any Thoughts?

You don't have something like SweetFX installed for CS?

Same here: Using latest build 0.11.2 (windows). Window 10 but trying to use Gamecapture on Dota 2 (pretty much the same engine as CS:GO). I'll see if I can get some logs.

Edit: Okay after restaring my computer and trying it again everything is working now... weird.

actually i do use sweetfx..ill try to remove it and try again. didnt think of that thanks


Edit: ok so i removed SweetFX and now it works. how come it doesnt work with it enabled? the game looks so flushed out without it and I can't stand it lol

SweetFX hooks the game to apply the graphics changes in a way that prevents OBS from hooking the game instead.

Oh ok, it works fine with standard obs tho. will it work in the future with MP?

well now i can run the game with obs mp atleast. but now the game shows up for like 5sec in obs & then everything goes black..
