Question / Help Can't set "Desktop Audio" and "Audio Output Capture"

Hello Guys!

I'm trying to setup OBS, but when I try to choose setup "Audio Output Capture", I can't choose a device, it's empty.

The same goes for "Desktop Audio", it's set on disabled, and I can't change it to my headset or anything else.

When I try to livestream on YouTube on my own channel, and I'm in a party in either Discord or Skype with a friend, my voice is loud and clear in the stream, but his voice is very low. The same goes if I play a random YouTube video, the sound of the video is very low in the stream.

BTW, I'm using MacBook Pro, and my headset is a wireless HyperX Cloud Flight with a USB dongle to connect.

Hope I can get this problem solved!

Check under mic/aux, and if it isn't there either, try adding audio input sources to a scene directly. If none of those are possible, reinstall. I assume it shows in the OS as a sound device?

As you can see, I can choose iShowU in mic/aux, but I don't want that. In mic/aux I have my wireless HyperX Cloud Flight, also in audio input capture. The problem is the Audio OUTPUT Capture, cause I can't choose anything there.

It is normal for those audio devices to show up under mic/aux. On my machine, nothing shows up under desktop audio. It doesn't matter, there is no distinction between the two kinds of slots, those are all inputs as far as OBS is concerned. The only audio output OBS supports is the stream/recording output, and the audio monitor.

If I can get my hand of a pc which is not a Mac, then I shouldn't have to install a 3rd party app like iShowU?
