So everything had been going fairly smoothly. I recently built a PC capable of both gaming and recording at the same time. I have been having issues with my mic audio being to loud or to quiet so I decided it'd be easiest to just record a second track. I originally planned on using audacity but where it doesn't have global hotkeys, being perfectly synced would be a bit of a nightmare. It was then that after doing some research found out that I could record multiple audio tracks through OBS Studio on one file.
Here's where everything goes horribly wrong. I am using version 17.0. I watch videos on youtube of how everyone else is doing it and under Output, they go to advanced then make it mp4 recording format. However my screen is different. I can make the "container format" mp4, which I presume is the same thing but I'm not really sure. Next they simply select the audio tracks they wish to record.... for me I can only select 1 at a time.... they're not check boxes. Finally I don;t have a video encoder that matches....Nividia NVECH H.264 vs h264_nvech... Again I presume these are the same but not sure.
Anyways, The picture below shows exactly what I'm looking at... any help is greatly appreciated.
