Question / Help Can't seem to get smooth recordings form my elgato Game Capture HD

So OBS multiplatform is almost perfect for me except I don't seem to be able to get smooth 720p60 recording from it. Hopefully there's just a setting or something that I'm missing. Here is a log from OBS MP and from Regular OBS to compare with. I'm uploading short video clip comparisons but they may take a bit to fully upload and process so that the 60fps option shows.

You are using quicksync in OBS1, OBS-MP does not support that yet.

Hmmm. I went ahead and did a test in regular OBS using x264 and it still performed better. I was super hoping there was just some setting that I missed that would be be smooth recordings because other than that OBS MP would totally fit the bill of what I need :(

Firstly, in your OBS-MP logs you have quite a few directshow sources, webcam, your splitter stuff apparently, and then the elgato; where as in the OBS1 log you presented where you tested x264, there really weren't any of those same sources, so that's not going to be a real equal comparison. Secondly, if CPU usage is a concern, will eventually get those other encoders (quicksync and such) back in.
