Question / Help Can't seem to get smooth 60fps in OBS Studio

Having some problems keeping a smooth 60fps stream with any game (games are above 60fps and i'm not getting encoding error).

I've tried QuickSync but I'm not a fan of how the quality is and the same thing happens.

v-sync in game improves it a bit but it doesn't feel good in game.

It just doesn't seem as smooth compared to other 60fps streams on Twitch

Do I just have some weird settings happening?

Running a game without vertical sync or a frame rate limiter will frequently cause performance issues with OBS because your GPU will be maxed out. Enable vsync or set a reasonable frame rate limit that your GPU can handle without hitting 100% usage. If that's not enough you may also need to turn down some of the video quality options in the game.

You also need to connect both monitors to your 560Ti if you plan to move OBS to the second monitor.

vsync in game + triple buffer. there is no other way
desktop refresh=60=ingame refresh - if your monitor is 60hz and not tv for example

That seems to have fixed it. Kinda wish I didn't have to use vsync for overwatch but it'll have to do. Thanks!
