If HAGS is enabled, disable it and reboot. Run OBS as Admin. Remove Display Capture (and Window Capture too if that's in the scene) and then try Game Capture. If that doesn't work, try running the game in Window mode and use Window Capture (remove Game Capture first).
If still still having issues
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

If your laptop has someway of hooking up another monitor/tv, you can try that for your certain reasons. If those certain reasons don't require more than 60 FPS then should be cheap with used monitor/tv.
