Question / Help Cant see stream on any video editor

I stream to Twitch. Im new at it. Im trying to make YouTube Videos and no matter what video editor I try I cant play the stream. But if I play it from MyVideos in Windows 7 The OBS stream plays perfectly. I record and stream at the same time. I want to take out big chunks of stream time because Im 70 and have only Gamed for 5 months in my entire life and I'm not quick at anything. . Any guesses?

@Grandma Rashamane good going at 70, hope i'm still gaming then :-) which video editor are you currently using and is it a standard install of OBS?

Thank You Beardedbob, I started gaming April 2016 and I play Ark Evolved, and now stream on twitch.tv and upload to YouTube. I even rented my own Server 10 days ago! Actually I have only gamed for 5 months on the P.C. after a month on a PS3.. Boy have I learned allot. I call myself a novice-newb. Then on OBS sometimes I forget to check the stream and find out I never turned it on, 4 hours later! Or that the audio wasn't on or that the video is an hour black hole. But I just begin again. I've decided to use Windows 7 Movie Maker. There's allot of how to's on YouTube. I finally figured out what was wrong. Not that easy when you don't know what to look for. Finally found a box I needed to check. So simple & yet so difficult. But I sure am having fun learning.
