Question / Help Can't see my camera

Hi, I just started trying out OBS Studio and it seems to work great (for playing videos and making graphics) except that I can't see my camera. Can someone please help me? My video capture device doesn't not seem to show up on the list. It says Microsoft DV Camera and VCR. It is the only choice. I don't think this is correct but I could be wrong. I can see my camera with Adobe Premiere CS3. The device I have is a Sony DVMC-DA2 NTSC Fire-wire converter. I also tried plugging my Cannon GL1 NTSC camera directly in via fire-wire and I can see it in Premiere also. But still can't see it in OBS Studio.

Hi Jack,

I just started having the same issue. I updated OBS to the latest about a week or so, and now It 's not able to recognize my SONY Z7U HD camera.

Hopefully I can get it to work..
