Question / Help Can't record to file

I am trying to record directly to a file rather than streaming, but when I hit start recording it does nothing. Checking the output section under setting shows my output mode set to stream and/ or record but it is grayed out.

I have the correct recording path setup. Bit rate 2500 - Audio 128 Retry delay 2 and max retries 20

This version seems pretty straight forward, but I must be missing something but I have no idea what it is.

Also I am assuming that if it works it should give me a stop recording button?

If you get the stop recording button then it worked unless the path is bad. The path where your files are saved is specified in the settings.
