Question / Help Can't Record Separate Audio Tracks

I'd like to record my Discord audio and my game audio separately, but the problem is, they both play through the exact same device, which is my headset. Is there any way that I can record separate audio tracks for the both applications if both play back through the same device?

Get Voicemeeter Banana. It adds 2 virtual sound cards (VSC) and 2 virtual recording devices (VRD).
Whatever you output to VSC1 gets shunted through to VRD1. So if you send Discord's output to VSC1 you can set OBS to record VRD1.

Set VSC2 as Windows' default output device and record VRD2 in OBS.

Your Mic is probably already added in OBS.

Then in Voicemeeter Banana itself you can take your input devices (your microphone, your discord (VRD1), your PC (VRD2)) and mix them all into your headset as you like.
