Question / Help Can't record anything!! Please Help!!!

I've been havin trouble recording lately. When I tried to record using game capture it would either A) Freeze when I tried to full screen the games.. Or B) It would record only the top-left corner. So I tried using window capture, but all I got is a black screen when I try to record emulator/steam,etc. games .
