Hey guys so i've been trying to stream at 720p 60fps and the ingame hit i've been getting is pretty noticeable. I know playing a game and streaming at the sametime is very cpu intensive but im pretty sure my cpu is capable of doing so.

My PC specs are

i7 4790k 4.4ghz with a h100i liquid cooler
gigabyte z97x gaming 5 mobo
2x gtx 970's windforce edition from gigabyte
16gb of hyperx fury ram

Internet is 200 download 50 upload

The games i've been trying to stream are WoW / h1z1 king of the kill / path of exile / arma 3 and some others.

https://gist.github.com/574737e8d2fa2d602cf8acb882c30a58 here is my current log file used the same settings for previous streams.

Is there anything i can do without having to resort into going back to 30fps? as im really used to how smooth the gameplay looks on the VOD's and the few viewers i have really like how smooth the gameplay thanks to 60fps!

Please help me!

James

This is not a complete log. Check the sticky on how to create a log.

Without this information there is no way to do anything but speculate.

How much CPU usage do you get in OBS when you play, and how much CPU usage in total? Try limiting the FPS in the game. I think you are pushing it to its limits, not sure if its compatibility related or performance.

And you are getting some connection stalls: Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 966 (0.3%)

And you did play wow in this instance, and where you maby in a dense city? WoW is extremely CPU demanding in dense environments.

Yeah virgin media caps the upload after a while which im in the process of swapping ISP's as its really annoying.

CPU usage while streaming is around the 40-50% usage mark even when in dense cities or in dungeons / raids

GPU sits around 50ish oc and around the same amount of usage somtimes around 60-70 but never much higher than that
