Question / Help Can't move sources anymore?

Hey everyone! :)

For about 2 weeks ago I updated OBS Studio.

But...

When I today wanted too make a new scene could I not move any of the sources. I could not move text, webcam, pictures, and things like that.

I can't move on the old scenes either.

Can someone help me?

Right Click on the preview area and uncheck "Lock Preview".

I had this prob too, similarly https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/i-cant-move-text-in-obs.122463/.

In my case preview is not locked, the lock icon on the text also not checked.
somehow my obs kinda crash, exit unexpectedly.
I use the v27.1 on arch linux.

It used to have rect red indicator after I click the text, I do change the encoder and stream_key before this is happen.

Already solved, by opening the obs, I think I do it twice. Future, my advice is just to close the obs, and wait for 5-10m before starting it again.

I struggled with this issue erlier today, make sure that if you use groups that the item your trying to move and the group they are in are unlocked.

I had the same problem & my sources were not locked, so I went into the (edit) option & unchecked *lock preview* Fixed my problem instantly!

With my frustration at trying for about half an hour to fix the problem, I didn't understand@fiqqbased's solution but I figured it out in the end 'by accident'.

- If you right click the preview screen and then unclick the "Enable Preview"

- When you see "Enable Preview", click that back on and it should sort of reset it back into place for you.

My Lock Preview is unlocked as is the lock next to each individual source still wont let me shuffle the deck.
