Can't hear audio in recordings

Hey, I'll just post the log file first quickly:

So I'm having an issue in OBS where I have my audio devices set up, but I can't hear audio in my recordings through one of them.
Through settings I have tried setting all my devices to Audio Channel 1 in advanced audio as well as advanced recording settings, but most of the time it doesn't work.
The only fix I've found so far is to turn my OBS audio device from my audio device back to default and then back again to my audio device.

FYI if it helps, I've got a Samsung Sound Bar connected via optical audio and that works fine 100% of the time, but my Scarlett Solo is the one that has problems. 50% of the time it'll record audio just fine, the other 50% it just doesn't record audio, even though the VU meter shows that there is audio output detected.

I've also already tried setting up the audio output as a source for OBS recordings.

edit: Forgot to add that it's only the audio out that intermittently stops working, audio input always works.
Speakers also work regardless of what frequency they're running at as well

Did you install the ASIO driver for your Scarlett Solo ?

And you will need the ASIO plugin for OBS

I just had to do this for a xr18 behringer

Yeah hey, I did try this with the Focusrite ASIO driver as well as without the driver, I have audio problems in either instance

But you don't have the (ASIO plugin) for OBS installed. If you did it would be in this list.

Oops, I meant that I *did* have the ASIO driver installed, but I removed it because 1) I was still getting the problem even with it and 2) Sometimes it just didn't want to open so I just reverted to using Windows default drivers because I don't need low-latency

It says down in the Please Note section that it should be fine w/o ASIO, just not for low-latency work

When I connected my xr18 Behringer It required the installation of a ASIO Driver And The ASIO Plugin for OBS
The *****Driver***** and the *****plugin **** are two different bits of software that work together.
