VCE's quality per bitrate is far worse than x264's.

The pixelation you're seeing is largely because of using that.

There's also not much you can do about pixelation in higher resolutions due to how much bitrate you have available to you.

im not using vce as soon as i seen the pixalation from vce i switched back to x264 the pixalation is still pretty bad with x264 and dx11 api with opengl its a little better but i still get a lot of pixalation the pixalation i get from vce is horrible the stream is not watchable when using vce that log might have been from when i checked out vce.

It's true that VCE produces a far worse image at the same bitrates so you should try to only use it to record high quality footage at very high bitrates. I stream 720p w x264 and record at 1080p with VCE.

Also, 720p60 should look pretty acceptable at x264/3500kbps/veryfast. Can you provide us a sample so we can judge how much pixelation we're talking about here?
