Can't get started

Hi
I am trying to configure my Windows 10 system on an HP Intel based laptop and cannot my video capture card to work. I can only see Internal video or OBS Virtual camera as options.
Can anybody help please?

Which capture device are you using? Does it have UVC support, or does it rely on its own software? Lower-end stuff may not present as a UVC device, which OBS needs to be able to access it.

Thanks for your response. I have spoken to the capture card people and it was simply the wrong USB port that I was using.
