Question / Help Can't get rid of blur while streaming

I made a recording using the streaming encoding set, even at faster preset;
(also occurs on fast, but fast only works when i am overclocking and does not seem to give a significant quality increase)

Is there anything I can do to get rid of the blur other than migrate to youtube for a higher bitrate? I would really like to get this problem fixed, should the problem be fixed if I use a higher encoding preset? I have been trying to get this to work for quite literally weeks.

Try and downscale the output (under the video tab) to 720p.720p will have an easier way to keep up with the bitrate, as 1080p60 would require about 7000-10000 kbps to look good. You can get away with 6000, but it would still get a bit blocky.

It looks about the same during movement intensive moments, but looks worse during general gameplay, IMO its not worth it, I am only doing 1080p30. I dont even know what the next step would be to possibly make the stream look better, even IF I had a dedicated streaming rig, would I still be bound by the bitrate? Ive seen many streamers on twitch who have much better looking stream then this.

Yes, even with a dedicated rig, you will still be bound by the 6000 kbps rule set by twitch.
However, if the CPU in the dedicated rig is beefy enough, you can get away with medium or slow preset, which will make it look "good enough"

id be hardpressed to get slow with my r5 1600, but I should be able to get it to medium, I can definitely give it a try. Thanks for the tips,

Personally I have a r7 1700x, and that can only just get 1080p60 at medium. But only if it's used as a dedicated encoder. Gaming on it at the same time would not be possible.
For 1080p30, going for medium should be possible, with some games. Fast games like shooters, would still be better off with a faster preset.

yeah for the games Im playing I manually set them to only use 4 threads for most of them anyway, sometimes 2 threads depending on the game, so I can usually get to medium or at least fast preset, I just wish it didnt get so blurry, I guess I can try streaming to youtube for a bit

Well, 1080p does tend to get blurry/blocky, so downscaling exist for that reason. Aldo it takes some of the load off the CPU.
