Can't get OBS to Recognize iPhone as camera

Hello,

I have a USB video card plugged in and I have the OBS app opened saying it's trying to connect.
However, I still get color bars when selecting "USB Camera" in "Video Capture".
It is my understanding that the computer needs to be able to handle USB 3.0.

If someone can educate me on what I am doing wrong it would be much appreciated.
