I'll describe my setup and then describe the problem I need help solving:
SETUP
I'm capturing video image through DroidCam on Android Pixel 4 cell phone. The cell phone is connected to a Windows 11 laptop. The laptop is connected to a Focusrite Starlight audio interface, which in turn is connected to a mic and electric bass. The laptop is also connected to an HDMI monitor.
PROBLEM
I see the DroidCam video image on OBS (on the laptop), but I do not see the video image on the HDMI monitor. All I see on that monitor is the background image of my computer, with none of the files I have on the desktop.
I additionally do not see the DroidCam video image when I try to livestream direcctly onto Facebook. I do get video image from my computer, if I switch the settings, but that's not where I want the video coming from.
