Question / Help Can't get audio input

I have my mixing desk (Allen and Heath Zed R16) connected via Firewire to my Macbook Pro. I have checked that the input and output is working in various other programs and all is fine. When I am in OBS I cannot see an input level when this device is selected for my incoming audio. When i record something there is no audio. When I select internal mic all is OK. Any ideas?

I’m running OBS with an Apogee Symphony going into it, and I’ve noticed it defaults to recording sound from inputs or outputs 1 and 2 as a stereo pair. Have you put your mixing desk into an aggregate device where it isn’t input or ouput 1 and 2?

If your inputs aren’t on 1 and 2, you may try running things through soundflower and have that be OBS’ input device.
