I am using the virtual cables a + b from https://vb-audio.com/Cable/ to connect my OBS to zoom. I have selected cable A as microphone and cable B as speaker in zoom. For my audio input from OBS to zoom using either cables as monitoring device, there is no issue.
However there is no sound from the speakers when I try to get audio from zoom. I can see in the OBS audio mixer that there is sound coming from zoom but for some reason, I can,t get sound to come out of the speakers.
FYI, I have mic/auxiliary audio under the global audio device set to virtual cable B.
I am pretty sure my speakers are working fine.
Here's what I have tried:
1. Tried changing which virtual cable acts as the global audio device. [no difference]
2. Turned on monitor and output under advanced audio options. [no difference]
3. Tried used audio monitor as a filter.[no difference]
Any ideas on how to solve this without getting some other 3rd party software for audio monitoring?
