This forum has been a great help as I have been able to switch our church livestream from some legacy software & hardware to OBS/Facebook Live almost seamlessly in a matter of weeks, with no previous experience with streaming. (Thank you to everyone who has posted in the past!)
Everything seems to be working fine - I can use an old logitech webcam, a HDMI feed from another computer for PowerPoint, and an old Sony HD camcorder for a different angle. I am trying to upgrade some things in our auditorium for whenever our church can get back together (COVID-19 restrictions!), and I want to replace the old webcam in our auditorium with something a little better, and have two angles with the same color, etc. so I bought two AIDA HD-100a cameras (https://aidaimaging.com/hd-100a/), but I can't get them to show up in OBS. Everything else has been pretty easy, but I'm stuck on this one. The same cables, video converter box, etc. works with other devices (PPT, camcorder), and the new cameras work when connected directly to a stand-alone monitor/TV via HDMI. I see a red box in my preview screen like it is there, but it is just black. I have changed the resolution, fps, mjpeg, downgraded the settings in the camera itself to 1280x720, etc. but can't seem to get an image to show.
I'm sort of at a dead end now, and not sure how or what else to troubleshoot. Any thoughts or suggestions?
